OpenFrame v1.3.0 ships a native desktop app for Mac and Windows, giving techs one-click dashboard access, system tray alerts, and fast environment switching without hunting for a browser tab. Mingo Guide Mode gets a smarter, tool-based architecture that replaces the old routing model for more accurate context resolution, and conversations can now be linked and shared directly by URL. This release also adds per-tenant control to disable OpenFrame's built-in SSO, alongside a wave of infrastructure hardening and SOC2-related security work.

  • OpenFrame Desktop App for Mac and Windows

    A native desktop application for the OpenFrame dashboard on Mac and Windows. Techs get one-click access without hunting for a browser tab, a system tray presence for alerts, and faster switching across client environments - complementing the Mingo mobile app so the same tech has the right tool at their desk and on the road.

    Resolved an issue where the Devices API was returning incorrect or incomplete results, ensuring responses are now correct and complete.

  • Mingo Guide Mode: tool-based source resolution (v2)

    Removed the previous routing model (Haiku) used to classify incoming requests. Guide Mode now resolves requests through additional tools directly, improving accuracy and reducing routing overhead.

  • Per-tenant option to disable OpenFrame SSO

    Added a configurable, tenant-level setting to disable OpenFrame's built-in SSO on the login page for tenants that prefer to rely solely on their own SSO providers (Google, Microsoft, Apple remain unaffected). Manageable from admin/tenant configuration.

  • Shareable, linkable Mingo chat conversations

    Every conversation now has a direct URL, so technicians can share a chat with a colleague or return to one referenced from an email or ticket via a conversation identifier passed as a URL parameter.

  • Updated onboarding flow with booking widget integration

    Refreshed onboarding logic and design, now integrated with the booking widget for a smoother setup experience.

  • Notifications for manually opened client chat tickets

    Added notifications when a ticket is manually opened via client chat, closing a gap where notifications previously only fired on interaction or reply.

  • API for external ticket creation in OpenFrame

    New API endpoint allowing external systems (compliance tools, monitoring, RMM integrations) to create tickets/alerts directly in OpenFrame, with support for title, description, priority, tags, device/tenant linking, API key authentication, and webhook-friendly payloads.

  • Simplified device archive and delete flow

    Removed the separate archive action in favor of a single delete flow. Deleted devices are retained in an Archive section for historical reference and cannot return to active status.

  • Script schedule offline behavior control

    Added the ability to choose whether a scheduled script is skipped or queued to run when a target device comes back online, giving MSPs explicit per-schedule catch-up control.

  • Observability stack upgrades

    Upgraded Mimir, Loki, Alloy, Prometheus configuration, mysql-exporter, and kube-state-metrics across shared and tenant clusters, plus new alerts for NATS.

  • SOC2-related security hardening

    Unblocked the KMS Security Command Center scanner, restricted Telepresence access via RBAC, and configured SCC with more aggressive detection and alerting rules.
