Flamingo Raises $4.5M Seed Round · Led by Vertex Ventures, bringing total funding to $6.7M to build the open, AI-native layer for IT and security.
Updated October 22, 2026. Prices read from Freshworks' US pricing pages on that date.
Freshservice publishes a price for every plan except Enterprise, so the first number is easy to find. The harder part is everything around it: AI add-ons, asset units, the billing cycle and the extra licenses. This guide breaks down Freshservice pricing for 2026, with each tier, the extras, a 10-agent cost example and the MSP edition.
Freshservice prices IT plans per agent, per month. Freshworks defines a full-time agent as a member of the core service desk team, and only agents are priced. Employees who just raise tickets aren't listed as a paid seat.
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19 per agent | $29 per agent | Incident, knowledge and task management, one support portal |
| Growth | $49 per agent | $59 per agent | Service catalog, SLA management, on-call, cloud management, MSP mode |
| Pro | $99 per agent | $119 per agent | Problem, change, release and major incident management, up to 50 portals |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Sandbox, audit logs, Freddy AI Agent and Freddy AI Insights included |

Annual billing is cheaper on every published plan. The gap is widest on Starter, where monthly billing costs $10 more per agent, about 53% above the annual rate. On Growth and Pro the monthly premium is $10 and $20, about 20%. Over a year, annual billing saves $120 per agent on Starter and Growth and $240 on Pro.
There is no free plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature turned on, and the page doesn't publish a minimum agent count.
Starter is a ticket queue with a knowledge base. It covers email, phone, chat and widget channels, the ServiceBot for Teams and Slack, CSAT surveys, the workflow automator and one support portal. For a small internal IT team that mostly handles break-fix tickets, that covers the core queue.
Growth is where structured service management begins. It adds the service catalog, SLA policies, business rules, time tracking and on-call scheduling. It also adds MSP mode, which runs separate portals for different clients from one account. Growth is the first plan that bundles IT asset management, which matters later.
Pro brings the ITIL processes larger teams need: problem, change, release and major incident management. It adds alert management, service health monitoring, a status page and up to 50 portals. Pro is also the first plan that can buy Freddy AI Copilot.
Enterprise adds a sandbox, audit logs and experience level agreements. Freddy AI Agent (Classic) comes included, with 1,200 sessions per license per year. A session is one user's interactions with the agent within 24 hours. Freshworks lists Enterprise as custom pricing through sales.
For how these plans stack up against other service desks, see our ITSM software comparison.
Freshworks' own overview video walks through the features these plans cover.
The plan price covers the agent seat. Several features sit on top of it:
Copilot is the add-on that changes the budget most. Add Copilot to a Pro agent and the seat goes from $99 to $128 a month, billed annually. That's close to a third more per seat, and it applies to every agent you license it for.
Freshservice licenses asset management in asset units, not devices. Growth, Pro and Enterprise each include the ITAM Growth package and 100 asset units. More units come in packs of 500, which Freshworks lists from $125 a month per pack on its IT asset management pricing page (October 22, 2026).
Each asset type consumes units at a different rate:
| Asset | Asset units |
|---|---|
| Desktop, laptop or mobile device | 1 |
| SaaS user | 1 |
| Server, virtual machine or network device | 4 |
| Container or function | 1/2 |
| Archived device or non-IP physical asset | 1/25 |
| Storage, per 5 TB discovered | 1/5 |
| Mainframe or mid-range system | 400 |
Weights from the Freshservice IT asset management pricing FAQ, October 22, 2026.
The weighting is the part to model before you buy. A company with 150 laptops and 10 servers uses 190 units, nearly double the included 100. That leaves 90 units over the allowance, so one extra pack, at a listed starting price of $125 a month. An admin on r/ITManagers reported the same $125 quote in April 2025, when Freshworks began counting manually entered assets. Ask for the pack price at your unit count in writing.
The rate can also depend on the ITAM package. As a UK public-sector reference, Freshworks' G-Cloud price list from August 11, 2026 sells ITAM in Growth, Pro and Enterprise packages to customers signing after April 1, 2026, at £60, £80 or £100 per 500-unit pack a month. Those are UK government rates, not US quotes.
If you track assets elsewhere, our guide to asset lifecycle management covers what the inventory has to hold.
Here's what 10 agents cost per year at published rates, before asset packs or other add-ons:
| Setup | Billed annually | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $2,280 | $3,480 |
| Growth | $5,880 | $7,080 |
| Pro | $11,880 | $14,280 |
| Pro with Copilot for all 10 | $15,360 | $18,480 |
10 agents x the per-agent rate x 12 months. Copilot is $29 per agent billed annually or $35 billed monthly.
The jump from Growth to Pro roughly doubles the bill. It buys change, problem and release management. If your team doesn't run a change advisory board or formal problem reviews, Growth covers the core service desk at half the price.
The other lever is coverage. Not every agent needs Copilot, and licensing it for half the team cuts that line in half. Occasional contributors can work on day passes instead of full seats.
If the team also needs one extra asset pack at the listed starting price, Pro with Copilot billed annually comes to $16,860 a year.
Freshworks sells a separate edition for managed service providers. Its single published plan, Core, costs $49 per agent per month billed annually, or $59 billed monthly.
Core includes client management, a self-service portal, the knowledge base and the workflow automator. It also covers curated reports, business hours, multiple SLA policies, access controls and custom SSL. Day passes are the listed add-on. The MSP pricing page lists a 14-day free trial and no cancellation fees, and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
MSPs have a second route: MSP mode inside the IT plans, from Growth up. At the same $49 annual rate, Growth adds the service catalog, on-call management and the bundled asset units. Core is built around client separation and reporting. Compare the two feature lists against how you bill clients before you pick.
Freshservice doesn't list quoting, contract billing or invoicing in either edition, so neither is positioned as a full PSA. If client billing runs through your service desk, compare it with dedicated PSA software for MSPs.
The subscription isn't the only line on the first invoice. Freshworks' UK G-Cloud price list, dated August 11, 2026, prices onboarding packages at £5,600 (Silver), £16,900 (Gold) and £39,400 (Platinum). Premium Support costs 20% of the monthly contract value, with a £2,000 monthly minimum.
Those are UK public-sector list prices. The US pricing page lists neither, so ask whether your quote includes onboarding.
The 14-day trial gives full access to every feature, so you can test Pro processes before you pay for them. Freshservice accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. Annual contracts can also pay by check or bank transfer in USD, EUR or GBP.
Upgrades take effect straight away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current term. On annual billing, that means a plan you outgrow, or never grow into, stays on the invoice until the term ends.
Agent prices can also step down with volume. On the same UK public-sector list, Pro costs £45 per agent for 1 to 100 agents, £41.25 for 101 to 250 and £37.50 above 250, and agents added mid-term are priced through those tiers. Contracts auto-renew at the end of the term, and any new pricing needs a renewal contract.
Start on monthly billing while you work out the right tier, then switch to annual once the agent count and plan settle. The premium for a few months of monthly billing is smaller than a year locked into the wrong plan.
Freshservice fits internal IT teams that want published, per-agent pricing and a service desk that can grow from Starter to Pro without a migration. Growth is the practical floor for teams that need SLAs, a service catalog or asset management.
It fits less well where the budget depends on many assets or AI on every seat. Asset packs and Copilot are where the quote moves. For teams weighing larger platforms, see our ServiceNow alternatives.

Before you sign, ask for three things in writing: the asset pack price at your unit count and ITAM package, how renewal pricing is set, and the term your downgrade rights follow.
